    Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a 2019 American epic space-opera film directed by J. J. Abrams and co-written by Abrams and Chris Terrio. It is the third and final installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, following The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017), and the ninth and final episode in the Star Wars saga. The movie stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac among others.

    The movie follows the story of Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron as they lead the Resistance's final stand against Kylo Ren and the First Order, which has now morphed into the Final Order under the leadership of Emperor Palpatine. The film takes place one year after the events of The Last Jedi, and follows Rey and her friends as they travel across the galaxy to locate a Sith wayfinder, an ancient artifact that will allow them to locate the Emperor's secret base.

    Along the way, they encounter Lando Calrissian, who helps them in their quest, and are reunited with Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and the droids. They also meet new characters, like Jannah and Zorii Bliss, who help them on their journey. Meanwhile, Kylo, who is tormented by his past as Ben Solo, learns of Palpatine's survival, and travels to the planet Exegol to confront him.

    As the Resistance prepares for its final battle against the First Order, Kylo Ren and Rey engage in a force connection, where they learn the truth about their connection and their shared destiny. The two of them confront Palpatine together, but are overpowered by his immense power, and are saved by the unexpected appearance of the Sith Lord's loyal army, the Sith Eternal.

    The movie culminates in a final battle between the Resistance and the Final Order, as Rey and Kylo confront Palpatine and attempt to destroy him once and for all. The Rise of Skywalker features stunning visual effects, thrilling action sequences, and poignant moments that will leave fans satisfied and emotionally moved.

    In conclusion, The Rise of Skywalker is a fitting end to the Star Wars saga, delivering a satisfying conclusion to the story and characters that have captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences for over four decades.
